FAQ's
Frequently Asked Questions
1. How do I start the landscaping process?
The first step in landscaping your
home is to schedule an on-site consultation with one of our landscape designers.
The on-site consultation between the landscape designer and homeowner serves as
the foundation for developing a landscape plan that meets the needs of the
client. Through the on-site consultation process the landscape designer will
learn of the landscape goals of the client including any tree, shrub and
perennial preferences as well as favorite color combinations and the budget (if
known). The landscape designer will also answer any questions the client may
have concerning landscaping and business practices.
If the client decides to
proceed with a landscape design and proposal, the landscape designer will
measure and photograph the client's property, and begin the design process.
2.
What information should I provide at the on-site consultation?
The client may
wish to provide a general idea of what they want to accomplish with landscaping
and a list of any specific trees, shrub or perennials that they would like to be
included in their new landscape.
3. What happens after the on-site consultation?
Your landscape designer will prepare a landscape design and proposal using the
information gathered during the on-site consultation. Landscape designs are
generally completed within two to three weeks after the on-site consultation.
When your landscape design is complete, your designer will schedule a time
convenient to you for review of the landscape design and the proposal to
complete your landscape project.
4. Is there a fee for the landscape design?
The
landscape design remains the property of Wolfes Landscaping until the client
accepts the landscape proposal or purchases the design. Landscape design fees
will depend on the time required to prepare the design; however most design fees
will range between $350 to $600.
5. What guarantee does Wolfes Landscaping
provide for its projects?

perennials for three full years from the date of installation. Hardscape items,
including brick paver patios and retaining walls are guaranteed to the client
for ten years from the date of installation.
